Description

This tasty BBQ Sauce is appropriately named after The Bitterroot Valley and the fact that it is made with root beer.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Root Beer
  • 1-½ cup Ketchup
  • ⅓ cups Stone Ground Mustard
  • 1 whole Orange, Juiced
  • 3 Tablespoons Worcestershire
  • 2 Tablespoons Dried Onion Flakes
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon Celery Seed
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a pot and bring up to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer approximately 10-15 minutes.
