Description

This creative sauce came from the mind of my husband, who is always making up delicious sauces. It gives an autumnal kick in the pants to your regular BBQ routine. Great with pork loin on a chilly evening or a tailgate party.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Organic Ketchup
  • 1 cup Water
  • ¼ cups Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cups Honey
  • ¼ cups Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1-½ teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 1-½ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
  • 2 Tablespoons Apple Cider
  • ½ cups Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 Tablespoon BBQ Rub Of Your Choice

Preparation

In a medium sauce pot, whisk all ingredients together. Bring it to a boil, then reduce to low and simmer for about 2 hours. You’ll notice the sauce reduce and thicken. Yields about 3 cups of sauce.
