Description

This stick, sweet, and tangy syrup is easy to make. Wonderful drizzled on ice cream, waffles, crepes, French toast, pancakes, etc.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Pomegranate Juice
  • ½ cups Honey
  • 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter

Preparation

Combine ingredients in a heavy-bottomed sauce pan and bring to a gentle boil; reduce by half. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Really good! Mine didn’t get very syrupy, but it still was yummy on pancakes.

This was easy and turned out great! I cooled it before it had reduced all the way and brushed it between layers of pound cake for a pomegranate mousse cake. Then I reduced it some more and drizzled the thick sauce on the mousse-covered cake. I wanted to try freezing it, but I wound up using it all!
