Description

My family and I love this pizza sauce. This recipe makes enough for about 4 of my pizzas, but you can use as much or as little as you like. I often store half of it in the freezer.

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces, weight Canned Tomato Paste
  • 1 can Warm Water (Use The Tomato Paste Can To Measure)
  • ¼ cups Olive Oil
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • ½ teaspoons Dried Oregano
  • ½ teaspoons Dried Basil
  • ½ teaspoons Dried Rosemary, Crushed
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ⅛ teaspoons Pepper

Preparation

1. In a small bowl, mix together tomato paste, water and oil.

2. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.

3. Allow it to stand for at least 1 hour to allow the flavours to blend.

No cooking is necessary. Store leftovers in the fridge or the freezer depending on when you will next use it.

Delicious even after I subbed Italian seasoning for rosemary.
