Description

Spice up that boring chicken dinner!

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • ½ teaspoons Ground Allspice
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Coconut Sugar
  • ½ teaspoons Sea Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Ground Black Pepper
  • 1-½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoons Cayenne
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Lime Juice

Preparation

Add ingredients into a mixing bowl. Stir to combine.

To use, add chicken to a 1-quart freezer-safe sealable bag, followed by the jerk spice marinade. Press the air out of the bag and seal tightly, making sure to press the marinade around the chicken to coat.

Place in the fridge to marinate at least 30 minutes, up to overnight.

Note: Recipe makes enough marinade for 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (approximately 1/2 pound). For 1 pound (approximately 4 breasts), you can double the recipe.
