‘Blackened’ Cajun Seasoning

Ingredients

• 8 Tablespoons Ground Paprika
• 4 Tablespoons Ground Oregano
• 4 Tablespoons Garlic Powder (or Granules)
• 2 Tablespoons Granulated Salt (kosher Or Sea Salt Preferred)
• 1 Tablespoon Ground Cumin
• 1 Tablespoon Ground White Pepper
• 1 Tablespoon Ground Cayenne (adjust To Taste)

Preparation Instructions

For your own use, just pour everything into a shaker jar, and mix it thoroughly. If you store it in a cool cupboard, it keeps for months.

If you want to give it as a gift, slowly pour the ingredients into a glass jar one at a time, and let them settle in colorful layers.

It’s fantastic used to coat pork chops or white fish fillets, before pan-frying on high heat in a little oil!
