Description

Spring is springing, y’all.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Chicken Or Vegetable Stock, Plus More If Needed
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • ¼ cups Grainy Yellow Mustard
  • ¼ cups Regular Yellow Mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon Hot Sauce
  • ¼ cups Ketchup
  • 2 Tablespoons Rice Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • ½ teaspoons Seasoned Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Celery Salt
  • ¼ cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Mustard
  • ½ teaspoons Smoked Paprika

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes until all ingredients are dissolved, stirring as the sauce cooks. Taste, and adjust any of the seasonings to your preference. If the sauce is too thick, add more stock or water 1 tablespoon at a time to thin it out. Serve with your favorite grilled or smoked protein!

@rolltidegrl26, eons! I kind of have an ongoing jar that I just add to new batches and then keep going. I’ve never seen a change in texture or mold, but if you want a “safe” answer, I’d say at least a few weeks!

Can’t wait to try this! How long do you think it would last in my fridge if I don’t use all of it??

This was absolutely amazing! I don’t usually like Carolina-style sauce, but wanted to make this for my hubby. Ergo, I’M the one who cannot get enough of this! Thanks for a great recipe. :-)
