Cranberry Apple Syrup: make a drink, drizzle on a salad or your pancakes! Uses are endless!
In a medium sauce pan over medium-high heat, combine the cranberries, apple, sugar, cider, and water. Stir until sugar has dissolved, bring to simmer and cover with the lid. Allow to simmer for around 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries have burst and the apples are soft enough to mash.
Remove from the heat and blend with an immersion blender (or allow to cool and carefully transfer and blend in a blender or food processor) until pureed.
Store in the fridge in an airtight container.
