So easy. Super good pop-in-your-mouth-I-want-more kind of appetizer. Great with an ice cold beer or margaritas (a must actually).
Sweet, Hot, Creamy, Flaky Yum-a-licious.
And last but not least, pretty darn cute.

This Chile con Queso contains Velveeta and Rotel, yes, but it also incorporates meaty sausage, extra green chilies, sauteed onion, and delightfully crunchy, fresh, spicy jalapeno. Though I can pretty much guarantee it won’t show up on the syllabus at the French Culinary Institute any time soon, it’s always a crowd pleaser—especially if that crowd contains humans of the male variety.

I know everyone has heard of the sausage and Rotel dip, but I first heard of it on The Crockpot Lady’s blog, where she calls it “Mommy Crack.” I threw this all in the mini crock one day, and we ate it for dinner with tortilla chips. My fiance asked, “So, what is this? Taco crack? Whatever it’s called, it’s good.” This is a great recipe to use up salsa or enchilada sauce you have left over.

I’m not sure if this is actually the recipe that Auntie Anne’s uses, but regardless, it’s still just as good (or better!) as any soft pretzel you can buy at the mall!
These are a lot of fun to make with a bunch of people—friends, family, youth groups, etc. Even children can work at rolling out their own pretzels!
Make sure to have cinnamon sugar, nacho cheese, sour cream and onion powder, and mustard on hand for your party!

My kiddos love this creamy kid friendly cheese ball. Packed with cream cheese and chocolate chips. You can roll it in crushed pecans or leave it plain. Spread on animal crackers, graham crackers or vanilla wafers.
