Description

This jam is so easy and so yummy! Our local grocery store had cranberries on sale so I tried a new jam. The recipe is a keeper!

Ingredients

  • 8 cups Fresh Cranberries
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup White Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Grated Orange Rind
  • ⅛ cups Orange Juice (fresh)
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 6 cups Sugar
  • ½ teaspoons Ground Cloves
  • ½ teaspoons Ground Allspice

Preparation

Put cranberries, water, vinegar, orange rind and orange juice in large pot. Start your boiling water bath pot to boil, so ready to process jars.

Cook until cranberries are soft. Add sugar and spices, stir together. Using an immersion blender, puree cranberries so you have a fairly smooth mixture (to your liking). Cook, stirring often, about 8-10 minutes until thick.

Pour into 6 sterilized 1/2-pint jars to within 1/4 inch from top. Put on cap, screw band firmly tight. Process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes. Enjoy!

I love this recipe. I had a bunch of frozen craberries and used them instead and it worked out excellent. Thanks.

I was searching for an apple jam recipe yesterday when I stumbled upon this cranberry jam one. I’m not a huge cranberry fan, but this is amazing!!! Super easy and wonderful flavor! Thanks so much!!!
