Description

This was always a winter time favorite when we went to Grandma’s house. So easy for her to pull out of the freezer.
I now have helpers for the husking. This makes it a fun group or family project.

Ingredients

  • 18 cups Corn, Cut Fresh From The Cob
  • 1 pint Half-and-Half
  • 1 pound Butter, Melted

Preparation

Husk and wash corn. Cut corn off of cob.

Place corn in large pan and add 1/2 & 1/2 and butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until beginning to turn slightly brown.

Take out of oven and cool completely for 4-6 hours. It is very important that it be cool before bagging.

Package in freezer bags. Place in freezer in single layers until completely frozen. Than arrange in freezer for storage.
