Description

This is an unusual recipe for a chunky conserve type plum jam. It is very colorful and tasty and one of our favorites that Mom came up with over 40 years ago.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Plums, Pitted And Chopped
  • 1 package Dry Pectin
  • 6-½ cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Crushed Pineapple
  • 1 package Unsweetened Raspberry Kool-aid (2 Quart Size)
  • 1 cup Chopped Walnuts

Preparation

Boil plums and pectin for 1 minute.

Add remaining ingredients, boil 4 more minutes.

Pour into sterilized jam jars. Wipe rims with a clean, damp cloth.

Place prepared lids in jars and screw on bands tightly. Let cool on towel.

Make about 8 cups.
