Description

A jelly that tastes just like honey.

Ingredients

  • 12 ears Corn Cobs Stripped Of Corn
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 box Pectin
  • 4 cups Sugar

Preparation

Using 12 corn cobs from which sweet corn has been cut (raw) add 4 cups of water.

Bring to a boil. Boil 10 minutes then strain through a cloth for 3 cups of liquid. Add more water if needed to make the total.

In a fruit pan, add 1 box of pectin and bring to a rolling boil.

Add 4 cups of sugar (all at once) and bring to a boil once again.

Food coloring may be added at this time.

Strain and put into jars and seal.

Enjoy!

Is 1 box of pectin the pectin crystals or pectin liquid? This is just so interesting I have to try it out!

Oh so EASY! It was so easy to make, set up nicely and does taste just like honey. This will be an every year jelly recipe for us!! Thank you for sharing. It was wonderful on toasted english muffins!

Goes great on toast with a little vanilla butter (1/2 cup butter mixed with 1/2 tsp. of vanilla extract)!
