Description

Plum Jam with a hint of warmth and spice.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Sugar
  • 5 cups Coarsely Chopped Peeled Plums
  • ½ cups Water
  • ⅓ cups Lemon Juice
  • 1 package Powdered Fruit Pectin
  • ½ teaspoons Ground Cinnamon

Preparation

1. In a large pot, combine sugar, plums, water and lemon juice. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly.
2. Stir in pectin, and return to a full rolling boil. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Mmm this sounds delish! I just made my first batch of jelly and want to make a variety of flavors to send as Xmas gifts this year, and I think this one will make the list! :-) I am also wondering about how many jars this makes?

This sounds fantastic! Can you tell me how many jars and what size this recipe will do?
