My new favorite way of enjoying French toast! And the aroma is amazing!
Preheat a lightly oiled griddle to 375ºF. Lightly beat eggs with whole milk. Add vanilla and ground cardamom, whisk until combined. Dip both sides of bread into the egg mixture and place on the hot griddle. Repeat with the remaining bread, whisking the egg mixture every so often to redistribute the cardamom. Flip when golden and serve with butter and real maple syrup.

Looks amazing! I just scoured my cupboards for cardamom but alas, I’m out. I’ll be picking some up the next time I’m at the store just so I can try these out!
