This is my new pancake recipe. You will not be disappointed. Nice, big fluffy pancakes – delicious as is or with the addition of your favorite fruit. No more rubbery pancakes. These rock!

Wow. I did not think I’d like these as much as I do. I love “diner” pancakes and these are great! I even did the oil instead of butter (gasp!) and it was leagues better than greasing the pan with butter.

Awesome recipe! I am a pancake making amateur, so I have to improve on my side (I think I over mixed) but the flavor and texture were spot on! Definitely writing this as a permanent recipe in my recipe book! My Husband and I loved them! Thank you!

Loved these. Fluffy, easy to make. I added vanilla essence and had to do the buttermilk substitute of milk and lemon juice, so if the exact recipe is even better, then it must be amazing!

We made these tonight and I have to agree! These were by far the best pancakes I’ve ever had! We added blueberries to the mix and made them blueberry pancakes and they were delicious! Thanks for sharing!

I totally agree with you on the cake like pancakes, I dont eat those at all. Now, this recipe sounds great! I will be making these for brunch tomorrow! I will let you know how they turn out! Thanks for sharing!

Loved this pancakes recipe! Great flavor! However, I had some trouble. This is the first time making from scratch pancakes. I did a half recipe, and it was pretty thick batter (and I do not pack my flour ), and when I cooked it, it was too thick that the inside wasn’t done and the outside was too dark. So I added 1.5 Tbls of water and They turned out great. Was that the right thing to do? Anyone else know why my batter was too thick? Too much mixing? Otherwise I am definitely making this recipe again! My husband and I love them!

We really like these pancakes, but I was wondering if you can make the batter ahead of time, like the night before, and still have great pancakes? or can you freeze these pancakes and reheat? what would be the best method?

Holy Moly those are good panckaes! I’ve never made pancakes that thick before so I was a little skeptical, but they were the bomb!

These are the best pancakes! Have made these several times and they are now my go to recipe for pancakes. Hubby said this recipe is a keeper. There are never any leftovers! Thank you for sharing.
