Description

A delicious way to sweeten up your morning breakfast would have to be these delicious blueberry pancakes. Plus you get to eat them with vanilla ice cream!

Ingredients

  • 1-¼ cup Organic Unbleached Whole Wheat Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 Tablespoon Granulated Sugar
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ cups Blueberries
  • Vanilla Ice Cream, Maple Syrup, For Serving (optional)

Preparation

In a bowl mix together the whole wheat flour and baking powder.

In another bowl mix together the milk, egg, sugar, and salt. Then pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture and whisk to combine well. Once the batter is moist, slowly fold in the blueberries.

Grab a cooking pan and spray non stick cooking spray on it. Place it over a preheated medium low heat stove.

Scoop up about 1/4 cup of batter with a measuring cup and pour it into the pan. Let it cook on each side for 3 minutes or until nicely browned – just make sure not to burn the pancakes. Set the finished pancakes aside and repeat with the remaining batter.

Once they are done grab your favorite vanilla ice cream and serve yourself a scoop and drizzle some maple syrup on top. So delicious!
