This was wonderful, as I thought it would be. I like it with the custardy liquid which comes from baking it a little less. Deliciuos. Thank you, Ree.

We had this for dinner, it was really good! I didn’t let it sit for much more than 30 minutes before I baked it and it was fine, makes me wonder how much better it would be if it sat all night.

I made this for a family brunch I hosted and it was the hands down favorite item we made. Made two batches and have been having little bits for dessert ever since. It was nothing short of incredible, and ridiculously easy to make. Prepped the night before, cooked it 45 minutes before leaving for church and just threw the oven to 100 to keep it warm for when we got back.

Fantastic! Everyone in my family happily devoured it, which is an accomplishment with four kids! This was very much like a bread pudding. I’ll try it with fruit under the streusel topping, next time–I bet raspberries would be great.

A very good dish! I think it could feed an army. Super easy to make and good for a fun breakfast with friends!

My hubby put this together last night and popped it in the oven this morning. We didn’t have any heavy whipping cream, so he substituted sweetened condensed milk and only used 1/4 cup of sugar. So good, didn’t even need maple syrup!

This dish was a hit with visiting family! I love that it is so easy to make and makes a good amount.

Loved this!
Some things I found:
- drizzle chocolate syrup on the top! It’s amazing, and you’ll never go back to maple syrup.
- this dish gets more delicious as it sits in your fridge. I ate it over a period of five days (or so), and each time was better than the other. By the end, the egg didn’t taste like egg at all! Instead, the dish went from tasting like a casserole to bread pudding.
-I used Panera’s normal-sized loaf of sourdough. Amazing and crusty!

This is a new family favorite. I used 1 cup milk, 1 cup sweetened condensed milk, 1/2 cup cream. I also added 1 cup blueberries. It is so delicious. WE didn’t need syrup!

Have made this a couple of times now to rave reviews! It 1/2′s beautifully in an 8″ square glass pan. The last time I made it I added chopped pecans on top, and it was even more delish!

OH MY ‘LANTA! I cannot wait to try this out this Sunday. Some people go to church, I make breakfast for all of my boys, lounge in my pj’s, read the paper w/ my husband with a warm cup of coffee in my hand. It’s as close to heaven that I can think of…until I saw this recipe. I think it will get me one step closer!

Hi Ree, when I read the recipe, it says to preheat the oven, and then take the Dish out of the oven, and then add the crumb mixture?, I’ve made this before, but I put the crumb mixture on after I took it out of the Fridge? and then baked it all together?, just wondering if it’s a typo?.. love this! and just prepared it for tomorrow’s breakfast!
