Description

Great brunch fare. Always gets rave reviews.

Ingredients

  • 4 whole Eggs
  • 1 cup Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Pepper
  • ½ teaspoons Nutmeg
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 2 teaspoons Olive Oil
  • 4 whole Mushrooms, Sliced
  • ¼ cups Red Pepper Finely Chopped
  • ¼ cups Broccoli, Finely Chopped
  • ¾ cups Feta Cheese, Crumbled
  • 1 pinch Dried Basil
  • 1 whole Bottom Pie Crust

Preparation

Thoroughly beat together eggs, cream, salt, pepper and nutmeg with a fork. Set aside.

Heat oil and butter over medium heat. Add vegetables and saute for 5 minutes.

Line a deep pie plate with pie crust. Sprinkle vegetables over bottom. Sprinkle feta over the vegetables. Pour egg mixture over vegetables and feta. Sprinkle with basil.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until beginning to brown.
