Description

Unbelievably easy and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (12.4 Oz. Can Or 8 Rolls) Refrigerated Cinnamon Rolls
  • 3 cups Vegetable Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • ½ cups Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoons Almond Extract

Preparation

1. Heat oil to about 350ºF.
2. Remove rolls from container. Set icing aside.
3. Cut each roll into quarters.
4. Gently and carefully place each quarter in the hot oil. Fry for 10 seconds and turn. Fry for 10 more seconds and remove.
5. Place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
6. In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.
7. Once all pieces have been cooked, roll in cinnamon and sugar mix.
8. Place icing in another small bowl and microwave for no more than 10 seconds. Add vanilla and almond extract and mix.
9. Drizzle over bites and dig in.

This is a great idea and it does taste yummy. Be prepared that the quarters don’t stay together( I even rolled them up in a ball) and I felt that a lot of the cinnamon from the roll ended up at the bottom of the fry pan. I think next time I would use regular refridgerated rolls instead and make my own glaze. Now don’t get me wrong these taste great I just wish they would have stayed together.
