Description

So easy to make, dairy-free, gluten-free and protein-packed to keep you full until lunch!

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Liquid Egg Whites (4 Egg Whites)
  • 2 Tablespoons Chocolate Protein Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cocoa Powder
  • ¼ cups Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
  • ½ teaspoons Vanilla Extract (I Use A Pinch Of Stevia)
  • Sweetener Of Choice, And To Taste (I Used Pure Stevia)
  • 2 slices Bread Of Choice (Guten Free Or Whole Wheat)
  • 2 Tablespoons Natural Peanut Butter
  • ½ Tablespoons Mini Chocolate Chips

Preparation

In a large baking dish, stir egg whites, protein powder, cocoa powder, almond milk, vanilla extract and sweeten to taste.

Place bread in the egg mixture and let soak for 10 minutes. Flip and let the bread soak another 10 minutes.

Once bread is ready, spray a griddle (or large pan) with cooking spray and heat to medium heat.
Cook bread until lightly golden brown on each side, about 3–4 minutes per side.

Pop the peanut butter in the microwave for about 30 seconds to 1 minute until smooth and melted. Pour the peanut butter over the french toast and garnish with chocolate chips. Devour.

Note: I used whey protein, but you could probably use a dairy-free kind!
