Description

An excellent breakfast casserole that is sure to make your day start off right!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sausage
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ⅓ cups Flour
  • 3 whole Eggs
  • 3 cans (4 Oz. Can) Green Chilies, Whole
  • ½ pounds Monterey Jack Cheese, Shredded
  • ½ pounds Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
  • 8 ounces, fluid Tomato Sauce

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

In a medium sauce pan, cook some sausage until brown.

Combine milk, flour and eggs in a large bowl and stir until smooth; then add sausage.

Drain the chilies and cut into long strips. Place half of the chilies into a casserole dish.

Combine the cheeses into a small bowl; then place half of the mixture on top of the green chilies.

Pour half of the egg mixture on top of the cheese and repeat the steps. Pour the tomato sauce on the top of the dish.

Bake for an hour and a half.
