A new twist on toast that everyone will enjoy but those with sensitive gums will love! Everything needs a name so I named it after my new grandson.
Those with sensitive gums have a hard time eating toast, crackers and chips. This simple variation on traditional toast presents, on first bite, the soft chewy side of the bread cushioning sensitive gums from the harsh toast. The crunch you get biting through, fabulous.
Place two slices of bread, sandwiched together, into one slot of your toaster. Toast to the desired doneness or even a bit more. Place bread on work surface with toasted side up. Make your sandwich.
When you close your sandwich, the toasted crispy side will be inside. When you bite into your sandwich, you’ll experience warm, soft and chewy bread and then a decided crunch as you bite through the toasted side.
