Description

Garlic Texas Toast loaded with three cheeses (mozzarella, cheddar and Parmesan) and lots of garlic. A family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 6 slices Texas Toast
  • 6 Tablespoons Butter, Softened
  • 4 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 2 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese, Grated
  • ¾ cups Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
  • ¾ cups Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
  • ½ teaspoons Dried Parsley

Preparation

Set oven to broil. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Place the slices of Texas Toast on the foil-lined baking sheet.

In a small bowl, mix butter and garlic. In another bowl, mix the three cheeses.

Spread some of the butter mixture onto each slice of bread. Place into the oven and broil for 2–3 minutes or until golden brown and slightly crispy.

Take the bread out of the oven and carefully flip over with a spatula. Spread the remaining butter mixture over the bread and sprinkle each piece with the cheeses. Place back into the oven and broil for another 1–2 minutes or until cheese is melted and the edges of the toast are golden and crispy.

Sprinkle the parsley over the toast before serving.
