Banana cream pudding mix sends this banana bread over the top!
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Grease and flour 1 large or 2 small loaf pans.
Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Blend in sour cream and set aside.
Mix flour, banana cream pudding mix, soda, and mashed bananas together. Blend in with the other wet ingredients and mix well.
Pour dough into the greased pan(s). Bake for 65 minutes for a large pan or 55 minutes for small pan. Be sure and check the center before removing the bread from the oven.

Sandra, let me know if you try it out. I think the sour cream and pudding really make a difference but let me know what you think once you make it. I would love to have your recipe as well as I am always up for more banana bread recipes myself!

I will definitely have to try this one out – I love banana bread and I love one of my recipes in particular, but am always on the prowl for more banana bread goodness!

Letzbakem, so glad you made the recipe and enjoyed it! Doesn’t the pudding really add a ton of flavor? I think it puts it over the top!

Hazelbite, so funny that we have the exact same recipe for bb! I’m telling you, though, that the box of banana cream pudding mix makes all the difference in the world. Let me know if you give it a try!

Made this recipe last night, super yummy! I love the addition of pudding and sour cream, makes the bread so much creamier. Will be making this again soon!
