Description

Easy and delicious!

Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoons Honey
  • 1 cup Warm Water (115-120ºF)
  • 1 package (1/4 Oz. Packet) Active Dry Yeast
  • ½ teaspoons Kosher Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Olive Oil, Plus More For Greasing The Bowl
  • 2-½ cups All-purpose Flour, Plus More For Kneading

Preparation

Add honey into a clean large bowl. Add the warm water into the bowl and sprinkle with the yeast. Stir and let sit for a few minutes.

Next, season with salt and olive oil. Sprinkle with 1 cup of the flour, stir with a spatula. Add in the second cup, stir until combine. Lastly, add the remaining 1/2 cup of flour and stir by hand until combined. On a well floured surface, knead the dough (adding more flour if needed) until no longer sticky. This should take 5 minutes.

Form the dough into a ball and add it to a bowl coated with olive oil. Coat the dough with the oil, using it to work the oil up the sides of the bowl. Cover with a towel and place in a dry warm place for about 1 hour.

This recipe yields 1 large pizza, 2 medium pizzas or 4 individual size pizzas or calzones.
