Exceptional! The perfect choice when fall comes around and you want to make something pumpkin-y besides pie and bread.
I left out the ginger( because I don’t love it), and substituted homemade maple syrup for the corn syrup (because I didn’t have). They look great, taste great and travel well.

LOVED these! I’ve made them quite a few times, and everyone always loves them. They’re my husband’s favorite scones, and I’ve used the glaze recipe on other things too. can’t wait until fall to make them again.

These were great! This was my first attempt at making scones, and they were not only delicious, but so simple to make! Easily as good as the chain coffee shop version. I am so happy with how they turned out. Great recipe, thanks so much for sharing.

Great recipe and the glaze is delicious. Will definitely make these again. We forgot to stick them in the freezer before we baked them and they turned out fine, can’t imagine they would have been better if we had done it. Thanks for sharing!

These were great. I made them without the glaze…perfect with a cup of hot tea!

These were amazing!! My high school daughter took these to school this morning for breakfast and one of her friends just texted me from school asking for the recipe. The only changes I made was that I substituted 2 tsp of pumpkin pie spice for the spices, just because I had that on hand and I used pecans instead of walnuts, because I love pecans. Great recipe, thanks for sharing.

My cousin has a pumpkin patch so I get unlimited squash and pumpkins in the fall. I baked three pie size pumpkins and turned them into puree this morning. I have a whole pile of recipes I want to try and this was the first. They’re delicious! I love the spice combo and the extra touch of toasted almonds. I used vanilla yogurt instead of heavy cream. The pumpkin flavor wasn’t too strong, so I think next time I’ll up the pumpkin:yogurt ratio. At any rate, I don’t think you can go wrong and these are very tasty! P.S. I’m in love with grating frozen butter now, rather than trying to cube it to pea size chunks. I’m going to do that for pie crusts in the future. Thanks for the tip!

We loved these!! They’re moist and soft and slightly sweet. And the icing is a great touch! Thanks for a wonderful recipe. I’ll definitely be making this again before pumpkin season is over!

Great scones…I used reduced fat buttermilk and that worked great. I also used maple syrup instead of corn syrup, and the glaze was very yummy! Great quick scone that impressed the ladies at movie night.

I made these last night and they are delicious! It was SUPER easy to make and we had most of the ingredients already in the pantry. Grating frozen butter – really smart idea. The icing is tasty (and easy) too! I’m definitely making these again.

These scones were delicious! I sent a big batch with my husband to his medical school class and they disappeared. A little more cake-like than other scones I’ve made, but the pumpkin flavor and the maple glaze are just perfect together.

I had guests over this past weekend and decided to try my hand at scones. I’m so glad I did. This was one of the recipes that I tried. They were awesome! My daughter loves Starbucks pumpkin scones and this made her day! Thanks!

Thanks for posting the recipe and photo. I thought the scones were easy to put together and tasted great. Loved the tip for grating the butter. I did find it easier, though, to grate the cold butter, then freeze it. I have since used that tip for making pie crusts. Can’t wait to try more of your delicious recipes.

These were absolutely delicious! Didn’t do the icing because I was in a hurry, but will try it next time. Loved the idea of shaving frozen butter because I hate cubing and cutting butter in. The shaving was so, so easy. This recipe is a keeper!
