Description

Whole grain pizza dough. So delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Flour
  • ½ cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 2 Tablespoons Flax Meal Or Ground Flax Seed
  • 1 envelope Quick-Rise Yeast
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Olive Oil
  • 2 teaspoons Honey
  • ⅔ cups Very Warm Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Corn Meal

Preparation

Combine flours, flaxmeal, yeast and salt. Mix well. Stir olive oil and honey into the warm water. Pour mix over dry ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon. Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface. Knead for 2 minutes. Spray another medium bowl and place the dough inside. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in warm place for 20 minutes. Spray a pizza pan with olive oil spray and dust with corn meal. When dough has risen, roll into a 12-inch circle. Transfer to the pan. Poke with a fork and bake untopped for 6 minutes at 425ºF and for 10 minutes with topping ingredients.
