Description

My mom and now my daughter make this Pumpkin Bread with a recipe I’d love to share with y’all.

Ingredients

  • 3-½ cups Sifted Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1-½ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons Nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 3 cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Oil
  • 4 whole Eggs
  • ⅔ cups Water
  • 1 can (15 Oz. Can) Pumpkin

Preparation

Note: Spices are to be in heaping spoonfuls.

1. Sift dry ingredients together.

2. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add remaining ingredients.

3. Mix thoroughly until smooth.

4. Grease loaf pan(s).

5. Bake at 350 degrees (F). If using a 9×5 loaf pan, bake for 90 minutes. If using two 7×3 loaf pans, bake for 60 minutes.

I have used this recipe for several years now, and it is amazing! It is the holidays again, and I went to find my trusty recipe in my drawer, and it was GONE! Thankfully, I remembered where I had downloaded it originally, and here it is!!! Try it… everyone will LOVE it!
