Description

Simple and delicious popovers that only require 1 bowl, 6 ingredients and 20 minutes to bake in a muffin tin.

Ingredients

  • 3  Large Eggs
  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Whole Milk
  • 1 cup Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese
  • ¼ cups Canned Or Fresh Jalapeno, Diced
  • ½ teaspoons Salt

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400 F. Spray a 12 cup muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.

Combine all of the ingredients in a medium bowl. Using an electric mixer on medium speed or a whisk, blend the ingredients thoroughly.

Pour batter into the muffin tin filling each 2/3 full. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until tops are risen, firm and golden brown.

Remove popovers from tin and cool on wire rack.

Notes: For the Jalapeno, I used canned Chi-Chi’s Green Jalapeño Wheels and diced them.
