Wonderful recipe! Simple, easy, and excellent! I’ve done these with half a dozen different toppings (working my way thru Mrs. Dash’s entire salt-free repertoire, I think) and they always turn out perfect. Do try sprinkling your herb toppings on first and *then* twisting the dough–gives the finished bread a pretty “swirl” pattern. These also keep well in the fridge; wrap with a slightly dampened paper towel before reheating in the microwave.

Great recipe! I have made it 4 or 5 times since first trying it. It’s very easy and my husband loves them!

So simple and tasty – made them on a week night to go with my spaghetti!

These are really yummy and much, MUCH easier than I anticipated! I like to use Extra Virgin Olive Oil in place of the butter and sprinkle with herb blend and garlic salt before the baking. Then, once baked, brush melted butter over top once I pull them out of the oven….then sprinkle parm cheese on top of that.

I have yet to find a recipe using yeast that actually worked for me, but this looks so simple and so yummy that I have printed it out and will try… one. more. time.

I made a batch of these today and they were excellent. They have a chewy, almost sourdough taste and texture. I did replace a 1/4 cup of flour with a 1/4 cup of 7 grain hot cereal. Yum.

These are definitely divine! The only change I’ll make is next time I’ll top them with more melted butter. I’m making these for Thanksgiving this year

These were so easy, though I think I made mine too long as they had to have a platter all by themselves, lol. I couldnt believe how easy they were to make but they really need some flavor topping. I did some in garlic spread mix from costco, they were the best. I did some in rosemary and tyme also. I think this is a keeper as it is easy and would be great with lasagna or any pasta dishes. Move over olive garden.

Wonderful recipe! I made these last week. Instead of using all white flour I did 1/2 all purpose flour and 1/2 whole wheat flour. I also sprinkled them w/ garlic powder, italian seasoning, kosher salt and some parmesean cheese. They were fantastic!

Have you tried making these sweet? I was thinking about brushing the tops with butter and covering them with cinnamon sugar

Fast and delicious, indeed! I used about half AP and half whole wheat flour, and my dough was a bit sticky so I kneaded in a bit more AP by hand. They rose beautifully and tasted delicious. I’ll definitely be whipping them up again. Thanks!
