Description

These dinner rolls taste like your Grandma made them. They are so good and easy; why buy rolls when you can make these?

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Warm Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 3-¼ cups Flour
  • ¼ cups Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 teaspoons Quick-acting Active Dry Yeast Or Bread Machine Yeast

Preparation

Put the ingredients into your bread machine in the order given. Water first and then the butter and so on. Make sure you have a little dent in the top of your mound of ingredients for the yeast.

Set your machine on the dough setting, then press the button. Go do your nails or eat some chocolate. It will take about an hour.

When your dough is ready, lay it out onto a piece of floured parchment paper or smooth floured counter surface and make into a rough rectangular shape.

Cut the rolls out to a nice size. I like to use a pizza cutter, it makes it a lot easier. You should be able to get about 15 to 18 rolls from one batch. Pinch the rolls into a nice shape. and brush with melted butter.

Cover with a clean towel and let the rolls rise for 30 minutes, they should double in size.

Cook at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
