Description

Crab n’ Cheese Spirals

Ingredients

  • 2 packages Cream Cheese (8 Ounces Each)
  • 2 cups Chopped Imitation Crab Meat (or Real Crab Meat)
  • 1 can Chopped Ripe Olives (4 1/2 Oz)
  • ¼ cups Minced Chives
  • 3 packages Refrigerated Crescent Rolls (8 Ounces Each)
  • ¾ cups Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
  • ¾ cups Parmesan Cheese, Shredded

Preparation

Look for the packages of crescent rolls that come in a sheet. You don’t want the kind of dough that is perforated. It will say “sheet” on the outside of the package.

In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, crab, olives, and chives.

Unroll on tube of crescent dough into one long rectangle; seal seams and perforations if yours have perforations. If you have the sheet then you will not have to do this.

Spread with 1 cup of the cream cheese mixture; sprinkle with 1/4 cup of each type of cheese. Roll up the dough jelly-roll style, starting with a long side; pinch seam to seal.

Using a serrated knife, cut into 10 slices; place cut side down on a greased baking sheet. Repeat with remaining crescent dough, cream cheese mixture and cheeses.

Bake at 375F for 14-16 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

Yield: 2 1/2 dozen
