Here is a flatbread of pronounced character suited to a variety of occasions. It is good hot—or not. And it transports easily, thus making it a bread of many uses: for picnics, as an appetizer, or as part of a light lunch. Or perhaps with a salad that is also composed of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern flavours.

Raspberries and white chocolate go together like pork chops and applesauce.

This was really simple to make and really very good, especially with some butter on top.
I actually made three loaves, two in a dark glass baking pan and one in a silicon loaf pan. The one in the silicon loaf pan took a little longer to cook.
I wrote up a post about this, along with my photos here: http://simplicityembellished.com/2009/10/pumpkin-bread/ (post will go up Oct 30 at 10AM, fyi).
I just want to say thank you for sharing this! It’s a great little recipe with a great result!

This was the perfect quick and easy pumpkin bread. I made some for a group of high school girls, and they devoured it in five minutes! Thanks!
(I also sprinkled some raw sugar over the top before baking to create a delicious, sugary crust.)
