Description

Simple, Christmasy cupcakes that will please young and old.

Ingredients

  • FOR THE MUFFINS:
  • 2-⅔ ounces, weight Butter
  • 10 tablespoons, 7 pinches Milk
  • 1 whole Large Egg
  • 1 cup, 4 tablespoons, ¾ teaspoons, 1-⅞ pinches Flour
  • 10 tablespoons, 7 pinches Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Sugar
  • ¼ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • FOR THE GLAZE:
  • 1-⅞ ounces, weight Butter
  • 6 tablespoons, 2 teaspoons, 4-⅝ pinches Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 200ºC/390ºF.

Melt the butter in a kettle. When the butter has melted, add the milk and then add the egg. Whish the egg in gently.

In another bowl, add all the dry ingredients and blend them all carefully together.

Sift all the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Stir it all together for about 2 minutes.

Place paper liners in a cupcake pan and fill them up about 2/3 full. Bake in the middle of the oven for 20-25 minutes.

The muffins are good to go as they are now, but if you want to have something extra here is what you need. I would suggest maybe glazing about half and leaving the rest plain, because it’s a lot of sugar!

To make the glaze, melt the butter. Then blend the sugar and cinnamon in another bowl. Dip the cupcakes in the butter and then in the sugar mix. And you are done!
