Description

Cinnamon-Pecan Croissants, the perfect quick and easy Christmas breakfast for a crowd.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ cups Chopped Walnuts Or Pecans
  • 6 whole Large Croissants
  • 1 stick (8 Tablespoons), Melted

Preparation

Adjust oven rack to lower-middle position and heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix sugar, cinnamon, and nuts. Working 1 at a time, dip croissants in butter and then dredge in cinnamon sugar, lightly pressing nuts into the croissants. Place on a baking sheet and bake until golden brown and fragrant, about 15 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack and cool. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Fabulous! I love recipies like this where I can “spice up” something plain. Made this for my family today for brunch. I had some small croissants so it was a great side dish to the eggs. However, the kids voted they would like the larger ones by themselves one day. I will definately use this one again! Thanks!
