Description

A delicious, moist banana bread with a touch of Nutella.

Ingredients

  • 5 whole Bananas
  • ⅓ cups Butter, Melted
  • ¼ cups Sugar
  • ½ cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1-½ cup Flour
  • ½ cups Nutella

Preparation

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Have a loaf pan ready.

2. Combine bananas and melted butter in a bowl. Mash the bananas (small chunks are okay and most welcome).

3. Add to the mix: sugar, brown sugar, egg, vanilla, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Make sure the ingredients are well mixed.

4. Slowly combine the flour into the batter.

5. Microwave the Nutella for approximately 15 seconds.

6. Take a portion of the banana bread batter, separate in another bowl and add the Nutella. Combine the ingredients together.

7. Pour the banana bread batter and the Nutella-based batter in layers into the loaf pan. Using a knife, swirl to combine the ingredients together.

8. Bake for 60 minutes or at least until the center is mostly firm (warm banana will still slide off on toothpicks/skewers).

Enjoy warm or let cool. Taste the wonderful blend of the chocolate hazelnut spread and the bananas. It makes a wonderful fall treat.
