Description

A perfect breakfast for your Valentine or any old Saturday morning!

Ingredients

  • 1-¾ cup All-purpose Or Whole Wheat Flour
  • ¾ cups Quick Cooking Oats
  • ⅔ cups Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1  Egg, Beaten
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ⅓ cups Canola Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Fresh Or Frozen Raspberries
  • 1 cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips

Preparation

In a large bowl combine flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon. In a separate bowl combine the egg, milk, oil and vanilla. Add into the dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in the raspberries and chocolate chips.

Fill paper-lined muffin cups or cups coated with nonstick cooking spray 2/3 full. Bake at 375ºF for 18-20 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.

These are wonderful!! I reduced the sugar by a few teaspoons and added fresh raspberries. The recipe is quick, easy and yummy! Worthy to be at a fancy bakery!! Thanks!
