Description

Great early morning breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ¾ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ sticks (cold And Cut Into Small Pieces) Sweet Cream Butter
  • 1 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 stalks Finely Diced Green Onion (scallions)
  • 1-¼ cup Whole Milk
  • 3 Tablespoons Sunflower Seed Kernels

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 F.

Grease a 12 cup standard size muffin tin. In a large bowl mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add cold pieces of butter and use a pastry cutter or your hands to mix ingredients. (It will be a bit lumpy). Add cheese and scallions and mix together. Add milk and sunflower seeds and stir with a wooden spoon until combined (batter will be sticky).

Add the batter into the muffin tin, filling each hole halfway with the biscuit batter mixture.

Bake at 375 F for 30 minutes.
