Description

This bread is incredibly moist because it’s loaded with blueberries. It’s also the perfect addition to any breakfast spread … or even as a little snack after dinner. Just warm it up, top with some butter and you will have yourself one of the tastiest treats.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 3 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2-½ teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 2 cups Fresh Or Frozen Blueberries

Preparation

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2) In a large bowl, whisk together the egg, milk and oil.

3) In a separate smaller bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the milk mixture. Whisk together until just combined. Fold in the blueberries.

4) Pour mixture into a greased 9×5-inch loaf pan. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.

5) Cool for 10 minutes before removing from loaf pan; transfer to a wire rack and cool completely.

I made the mistake of making this bread a couple of weeks ago and now I have to make it every Sunday! This bread is so delicious my entire family enjoys it!

I have this in the oven right now with fresh blueberries from this mornings market! Can’t wait to see how it turns out!

I only got a little bite of it because it was gobbled up so quickly, but what little I had was delicious! Guess I’ll have to make it again. You know, just to make sure.

This is sooo yummy! My fiance saw the picture and begged for it. I made it using 1 c blueberries and 1 c raspberries and it is amazingly yummy :) Thanks for the great recipe! This is a keeper!

We absolutely loved this bread! The only change that I made was to add about a teaspoon of vanilla to the batter. I will definitely be making this again. Thanks for the great recipe!

YUMMY! I also liked that all the ingredients are items I already have on hand.
Thank you!

Wonderful bread & easy recipe! I added a little lemon zest to my batter as I had a lemon that needed used asap.

Will certainly be making this again! Can’t wait to have in the morning with some butter on top!!
