Description

These are so worth the calories and they are so easy.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (5-count Or About 10 Oz. Can) Grand Size Flaky Refrigerated Biscuits
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 4 Tablespoons Blue Cheese Crumbles
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • ¼ teaspoons Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Chopped Chives (optional)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8-inch round cake pan with nonstick cooking spray.

Cut each biscuit in half and then cut each half into three wedge-shaped pieces. You should have 30 biscuit pieces. Place the cut biscuits in the prepared pan in a single layer.

In a small pan melt the butter. Add the blue cheese, garlic, sugar, and chives. Stir until blue cheese is almost all melted.

Spoon the butter mixture evenly over the biscuits.

Bake for 12-15 minutes.

Last night I made these paired with Buffalo Chicken Burgers (another successful recipe).

They were so good. I took them out at 12 minutes and served them but they were not done. Next time I’ll leave them in for more time.

When I melted the butter, added the blue cheese etc. I realized I had to set it aside a minute to do something else, so I nuked it again later. All the blue cheese melted (not as good) so I recommend spooning the mixture over the biscuits right away. A lesson learned for me. Good thing I bought double so I can make again.

A tasty, fun, easy and impressive recipe.
