I love this bread! The yeasty flavor of the beer tastes great and it’s so easy and quick to throw together! Awesome!

Delicious. I was having trouble finding a recipe I liked, but this one hit the spot! Beer bread with dip is my new favorite thing.

This is my favourite beer bread recipe. So easy and always delicious. Especially good with stews.

I followed the recipe as written and it turned out great. I did have to bake it a little longer than suggested but I seem to have to do that a lot so I think it’s just my oven. I’m making it tonight again, second night in a row just because it’s delicious and so quick to put together.

Excellent! I used Shiner Bock and it turned out perfectly though it did take longer than 35 minutes at 375. What a quick, easy and tasty addition to a meal.

This was the easiest bread to make, and it was absolutely delicious! The prep time should really be moved to 5 minutes, which was what it really took. Great flavor, just wonderful.

This is amazing and delicious. It’s easy to throw together, and it’s about as fast as ordering pizza — so it’s now my preferred drinking snack. My friend and I made it with his coconut porter homebrew… ridiculously excellent. He didn’t have a loaf pan so we used a 8×8 and it worked just fine.

This was really easy to make — a good, quick alternative to yeast breads. But I recommend using a light beer — I used a red lager (because that’s what I had in the fridge), which left a pretty heavy beer flavor.

I made this bread over the weekend. It was delicious! The cooking time was spot-on; the melted butter made the crust brown and delicious. It kept nicely as well…wasn’t too dry or stale the next day. Excellent recipe!

Hi Frank, made this last night with some of my husband’s home brew. Really good, thanks!

I couldn’t sleep last night so I ended up making this bread w/ a Yuengling black and tan.
Had a piece for breakfast. Yum!

Help! I’ve tried this recipe twice and while the flavor is great, the bread just does not want to rise and texture is more like cake than bread. It’s no more than an inch and a half thick. When the first try failed I assumed it was the baking powder, so I bought a new can…with no luck. The loaf pan is standard size, so that’s not it. Any suggestions on what I’m doing wrong?

This was the easiest bread I’ve ever made. My salt-addicted husband said he would have liked more salt, but I thought it was perfect.

this is the easiest bread i’ve ever made, and one of the tastiest to boot. if you are wary of making your own yeast bread, give this a try – you don’t need to knead it or let it rise! in fact, you must bake it right away; otherwise the baking powder will react prematurely and your bread won’t rise properly when it’s baking.
i ended up adding extra flour (about 1/2 cup) because my dough was very sticky. of course, the texture of your dough depends a lot on your flour, so don’t be afraid to add a little extra if you think it needs it. however, you would most likely be safe just pouring sticky batter right into your greased loaf pan.

The flavor of the bread is yummy, but my loaf turned out a little dense. I didn’t think I over mixed once I added the beer, but I must of done something wrong. I did sift the dry ingredients. I will try again another day.
