Description

Delicious breakfast bread bursting with chunks of apple, ribbons of cinnamon kept moist with sour cream and bananas. It’s a beautiful way to start the day.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cups White Sugar
  • ⅓ cups Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cups Melted Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons Sour Cream (fat-free Works Great)
  • 1 whole Egg, Lightly Beaten
  • 3 whole Bananas, Mashed
  • 1-½ cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 whole Apple, Peeled And Diced
  • ¼ cups Cinnamon Sugar

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease loaf pan (I use my mini-loaf pans, and so I grease the 8 mini pans.)

2. Beat together all wet ingredients with sugars (except for apple and cinnamon sugar). Mix together all dry ingredients.

3. Combine dry mixture with wet mixture. Stir until moist (don’t over mix). Fold in apple pieces.

4. Fill the loaf pan with 1/2 of the batter. Then sprinkle a generous layer of cinnamon sugar across the batter within the pan.

5. Fill the loaf pan with the remaining dough. Top the loaf with with a quick sprinkle of cinnamon sugar before putting it in the oven

5. Bake for 45-55 min in 375 degree oven, until a toothpick inserted into center of a bread comes out clean.
