I would give this 10 mitts if I could! This bread is fabulous!!! It smells delicious and the taste doesn’t disappoint. It’s super moist and light. The chocolate is just the right amount and doesn’t overpower the banana taste or make it too sweet. Wonderful recipe, thanks for sharing!!!

This bread is awesome. I have made it twice now and it’s so tasty, much better than the standard quick bread recipe I’ve been using for years. I add both choc chips and pecans and everyone just loves it!

This is a great recipe. I made it twice the week after I found it. If you don’t have a loaf pan, it turns out well in a 9×13, just check on it after about half an hour.

This is a really, really, really delicious banana bread. I used half whole-wheat flour and half all-purpose (white) and instead of chocolate chips I used 1 cup of chopped walnuts. WOW! The batter was runnier than I expected for a loaf but the bread itself is moist and amazing!

This bread has wonderful flavor. It is a delicious treat to share at work. It sure wins my recommendation.
I’ve made this recipe twice: once with cinnamon, once without. I preferred the flavor without the cinnamon. You may not feel the same way. Do whatever makes you happy. : )

So moist and wonderfully chocolatey. Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies are my favorite and now I have a bread too.

This is so GREAT. I used an extra banana, omitted the chocolate chips and added some finely chopped walnuts. My 2 year old ate 2 pieces for dessert!

Completely agree with other reviewers. This was super moist, hint of cinnamon, dark chocolate. LOVE it! And a healthier version with whole wheat flour and oats.
Thanks!

Yum! Just pulled it out of the oven and only managed to wait 10 minutes before digging in! I bet it is even better cool. Very tasty, moist, 5 mitts!

This is every bit as delicious as previous posters have said. Even my picky 12 year old who says he doesn’t like oatmeal LOVED it. I used mini chocolate chips since thats what I had in the house, WONDERFUL. They melted a little more than what I imagine the big ones would, so there was literally chocolate in every bite. We’ll be making these again SOON!!

Tried to leave a review because this recipe definitely deserves 5 mittens!!! Oh yummers, we could barely wait 5 minutes after pulling it out of the oven to give this bad boy a taste. I was wondering how it would be considering whole wheat flour usually is tough but not in this case. I also added 2TBS ground flax seed. Thanks for sharing.

I have made this many times, today being the most recent. I thought I should add that if you are like me today, and remember that the melted butter is in the microwave as you are loading the pans in the oven, don’t despair! They still taste great!
