Description

Beer bread made with Wells Banana Bread Beer. A buttery melt-in-your mouth experience and incredibly easy to make. You can use any kind of beer you want but this brew makes for a very pretty creation.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cups Sugar
  • 3 cups Self-Rising Flour
  • ½ cups Butter, Plus More For Greasing The Pan And A Few More Pats For Topping
  • 12 ounces, fluid Wells Banana Bread Beer (or Any Other Kind)

Preparation

Preheat your oven to 350ºF. Grease a standard loaf pan with butter and set aside. In a large mixing bowl combine the flour and sugar. Cut the butter into pats and alternate forking it into the dry ingredients with the beer. Combine until moistened; the dough should be sticky not runny. Pour the dough into the loaf pan, and top with a few more pats of butter. Stick it in the oven and bake for 1 hour. Place on a rack to cool. Serve hot with more butter.

Makes a soft inside, crunchy outside loaf with the slightest hint of banana. Loaf was gone in one sitting!
