Description

You can’t go wrong with bacon, cheddar and jalapenos mixed into a delicious warm bread.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Yellow Cornmeal
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
  • ½ cups Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
  • 3 strips Bacon, Cooked And Diced
  • 1 whole Jalapeno, Deseeded And Minced
  • ¾ cups Cheddar Cheese, Shredded

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400 F.

In a large bowl combine all of the ingredients above. Stir the mixture so that everything is mixed and wet.

Spray a 12-count cupcake pan with non-stick spray and fill each well until 2/3 full. Bake the cornbread for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
