In bowl mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Add oil and, with your hands, mix until oil is incorporated. Add water all at once and mix with hands until well blended.
Pinch off about 8-10 balls and place in a bowl. Cover and let sit at least 15 minutes, then roll out thin on a floured surface. Heat up pan, place tortilla, and cook until bubbly. Then turn and cook till lightly browned.
You can make the balls early in the day and then cook them right before eating.
Note: A neighbor of mine gave me this recipe, which was taught to her by her grandmother in South America when she was a little girl.
