Description

As we all know whole wheat flour is more nutritious than refined flour so I tried these whole wheat cheese bites and they turned out so good! This recipe is really quick, easy and a good snack option.

Ingredients

  • 1-½ cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • ¾ cups Cheese, Grated (your Preferred Kind; I Used Cheddar)
  • ½ cups Sour Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat Masala Or Salt (to Sprinkle)

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 180 C. Sift flour and salt together in a bowl.
2. Add oregano and cheese and toss to combine.
3. Mix in the sour cream. Then put the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead the dough for 15-20 minutes.
4. Roll the dough until it’s paper thin then cut into squares (your preferred cracker size).
5. Arrange the dough squares in a single layer on a greased baking tray and pierce a hole in each square with a fork.
6. Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly brown. Remove from oven.
7. Sprinkle some chaat masala or salt over the top. Shake well and start munching!

Hi Puneet, I made these a few hours ago and they turned out great! Very easy recipe. I have weekend company coming into town tomorrow morning so I have been cooking all day. I made my lemon-onion chips also so I will have plenty of munchies for everyone! Thanks for sharing. Your TK Friend, Cheryl.
