My family & I think these waffles are worth digging out the waffle iron! They are so much more tasty than the frozen kind!
1. Begin by preheating the waffle iron, lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray, if desired.
2. Mix together flour, oats, sugar, baking powder and salt.
3. In another bowl, stir together lightly beaten eggs, milk and melted butter.
4. Pour wet ingredients into a “well” of the dry ingredients and stir until just mixed.
5. Bake waffles in waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
6. Serve with lots of butter and syrup!

The oatmeal gives these a slightly hearty, nutty flavor and texture. But they’re still wonderfully fluffy! Awesome recipe, thank you for sharing!

Very good…eating them right now and enjoying immensely! I like the little bit of texture that the oats add…nice!
