French bread with a yummy Dijon/cheese topping. Perfect as an appetizer or side dish to a meal.
Mix poppy seeds, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and seasoned salt.
Add melted butter to Dijon mixture. Mix to combine.
Pour mixture over French bread halves which have been placed on a baking sheet. Use the back of your spoon to spread evenly.
Sprinkle as much or as little of green onion tops over the bread. Top with cheese.
Bake at 350F for 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let cool slightly and cut crosswise into 2-inch pieces.
